Shipping for preorder chairs

Shipping is not included in the 50% preorder deposit. After the prototype is complete and we have tested the final packaging, we will confirm the shipping cost for your country and chosen set. If the chairs can be safely nested more efficiently, the cost may be lower. We will send the confirmed delivery charge separately before requesting the remaining balance. No shipping charge is collected at preorder checkout.

New stretch goal: active seat ventilation

When the campaign reaches 50 confirmed chair preorders, we will begin engineering and prototype development of an optional, three-level active ventilation system for The Crown Chair.

• Quiet 12V fans integrated beneath the upholstery
• 3D air-distribution layer under the perforated natural leather
• Three airflow levels controlled from a discreet side panel
• Designed to improve comfort during long games, work sessions and evenings at the table

What will it cost? The final price of the ventilation option has not yet been determined. It will be confirmed only after prototype development, supplier quotations and successful testing.

No automatic extra charge. Active ventilation is not included in the current preorder price or deposit. Preorder customers will receive the final specification and price first, and will be able to decide whether to add the option before production.

Technical note: the first version is planned as active air circulation through the perforated leather, not refrigerated air or an air-conditioning system. The final feature remains subject to successful prototype testing.

Full price per chair: American walnut, lacquered — €1,500. Oak, oil finish — €1,350. Set discounts are applied to the full order: 2% for 4 chairs, 4% for 6 chairs and 6% for 8 chairs.

How payment works: the price shown at checkout is the 50% deposit for the selected pack. The remaining 50% balance is payable later; the timing and payment instructions will be confirmed with preorder customers before production.

Development timeline: the real prototype is planned for January 2027. After design refinements and testing, production of the first 30 chairs is planned to begin in February 2027, subject to successful test results.

By placing a preorder, you help fund prototype development and the first production run. Read before ordering: The Crown Chair preorder terms (Polish and English). The checkout amount is a 50% advance. The prototype is planned for January 2027, testing and validation by 28 February 2027, and first shipments from March 2027. If the chair cannot pass validation by 28 February, all amounts paid will be refunded in full by that date. Statutory consumer rights remain in force.

The dimensions shown are preliminary and may change during prototype development if a change improves the chair's fit, comfort or overall design. Final specifications will be confirmed after prototype development and testing.
