THE CROWN – TERMS OF SERVICE & SALE

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

These Terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of products from The Crown ("we", "us", "our").

By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS

All products offered by The Crown are handcrafted and made-to-order, often customized to the customer’s specifications.

Due to the nature of craftsmanship and natural materials:

  • Each product is unique

  • Wood grain, color, knots, and texture will vary

  • Minor variations in dimensions and finish may occur

  • These differences are not defects

Images, renders and samples are for reference only.

3. ORDER PROCESS

3.1 Order as Offer

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.

3.2 Acceptance

The order is accepted only after:

  • payment is received, and

  • we confirm the order by email

3.3 Specification Confirmation

For custom products:

  • all dimensions, materials and features must be confirmed before production

  • once confirmed, the order becomes final and binding

4. PAYMENTS

We may require:

  • full payment in advance, or

  • a deposit with remaining balance before shipping

Once production has started:

  • payments are non-refundable, except where required by law

5. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

Before production:

Changes or cancellation may be possible.

After production begins:

  • changes may not be possible, or may incur additional cost

  • cancellation is generally not possible

6. PRODUCTION TIME

All production times are:

  • estimates only

  • subject to change due to:

    • material availability

    • workload

    • technical complexity

    • external factors

Delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or compensation.

7. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

7.1 Delivery

We ship worldwide via third-party carriers.

7.2 Delivery Time

All delivery times are estimates.

7.3 Risk and Transport

  • For business customers (B2B): risk transfers upon handover to the carrier

  • For consumers (B2C): risk transfers upon delivery, unless otherwise required by law

7.4 Inspection Requirement

Upon delivery, the customer must:

  • inspect the package immediately

  • report visible damage within 24 hours

  • provide photos and documentation

Failure to do so may affect claims.

7.5 Customs and Duties

The customer is responsible for:

  • import duties

  • taxes

  • customs procedures

8. NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (CUSTOM PRODUCTS)

Products made to the customer’s specifications are non-returnable.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • custom-made furniture

  • personalized configurations

This does not affect statutory rights in case of defects.

9. WARRANTY AND CLAIMS

We guarantee that products:

  • are manufactured with due care

  • conform to the agreed specification

The warranty does not cover:

  • natural wood characteristics

  • color variations

  • changes caused by humidity, temperature, or use

  • normal wear and tear

  • improper use or storage

Claims must be submitted with:

  • photos

  • detailed description

10. USE AND CARE

The customer is responsible for proper use.

Wood products require:

  • stable humidity conditions

  • proper maintenance

  • avoidance of extreme environments

Improper use voids warranty.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages

  • loss of profits or business

  • delays caused by external factors

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be legally excluded.

12. PRODUCT REPRESENTATION

We strive for accuracy, but:

  • colors may vary due to screens

  • materials may differ slightly

These differences are not grounds for claims.

13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All designs, photos, and content belong to The Crown.

Unauthorized use is prohibited.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the law of:

Poland

For consumers:

  • mandatory consumer protection laws of their country of residence remain applicable

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time.
